Responsibilities

Daily job duties and responsibilities of the HR Clerk include:

  • Employee time off tracking
  • Handling temp help scheduling
  • Compiling reports and spreadsheets
  • Participating in recruitment efforts
  • Assisting in interview process
  • Preparing new employee files
  • Assisting with new hire training and safety training
  • Overseeing the completion of benefit documentation
  • Administering new employment assessments/training in the shop

Record Maintenance

  • Maintaining current HR files and records
  • Updating and maintaining employee benefits, status, and similar records
  • Maintaining records related to performance reviews and disciplinary actions
  • Compiling monthly birthday and anniversary information
Qualifications

Requirements:

Up to 2 years experience in HR

Minimum HS education / Assoc. degree

Must know how to use Outlook, excel, word and PowerPoint
